The suspect faces charges including conspiracy to obstruct justice and lying to investigators.
The property manager of Trump’s Mar-a-Lago estate is facing charges in connection to the former president’s classified documents case.
Carlos De Olivera was added to the indictment with Trump and his former valet, Walt Nauta, in the federal case alleging a plot to illegally keep sensitive information that was supposed to be turned in when the former president’s time in office ended.
De Oliveira is accused of assisting in deleting security footage from Trump’s Palm Beach property that prosecutors sought for review in the case. He faces charges including conspiracy to obstruct justice and lying to investigators.
De Olivera appeared in court for the first time on Monday but did not enter a formal plea. He was released on a 100,000 dollar bond and will be arraigned on August 10th.
