Espresso Could Lower Your Risk of Alzheimer’s Disease

Research published just this week that drinking a shot of espresso could lower a person’s risk for Alzheimer’s disease.

Research published this week that drinking a shot of espresso could lower a person’s risk for Alzheimer’s disease.   Scientists point to a protein  in the brain called tau clumping together that is linked to the disease and memory loss.  Compounds in espresso like caffeine, and three other things (trigoneline, genistein and theobromine) stop the clumps from forming.  Drinking espresso in any form could help slow the development of dementia.
