Seven Republican Candidates Reach Qualifying Requirements For Debate Stage

Seven candidates reached 1% or higher in at least two qualifying National polls and two qualifying State polls from different states.

Seven Republican candidates have met the polling requirements to take the debate stage.

Former President Donald Trump, Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis, Businessman Vivek Ramaswamy, Former Vice President Mike Pence, Former S.C. Gov. Nikki Haley, S.C. Sen. Tim Scott and Former New Jersey Gov. Chris Christie, have all reached 1% or higher in at least two qualifying National polls and two qualifying State polls from different states.

Along with those requirements, candidates must also meet fundraising criteria and sign a pledge to support the eventual Republican nominee to qualify for the debate.

Pence is the only candidate who has met the polling threshold but not yet met the fundraising threshold.

The debate is scheduled to be held on August 23rd.
