Russia Destroys Ukraine Grain During Missile Attacks
Moscow explained it has been carrying out the 'retaliatory strikes' after terminating the Black Sea grain export agreement as it blames Ukraine for the attack on a key bridge used to transport Russian military supplies.
Russian missiles struck grain warehouses in Odesa, Ukraine destroying an abundance of crops in retaliation.
Odesa’s Regional Governor, Oleh Kiper, announced 100 tons of peas and 20 tons of barley were destroyed during the attack.
The Kalibr cruise missiles were fired from the Black Sea at low altitude to bypass air defense systems. Two missiles struck the grain storage facilities causing fires to break out. Another missile struck the same enterprise as the fire was being put out, damaging agricultural and rescue equipment.
