New Theme Park Coming Soon Along Route 66

The theme park will be 125 acres which makes it a comparable size to Disneyland or Magic Kingdom at Disneyworld.

A new attraction is coming soon along Route 66 in northeast Oklahoma.

The American Heartland Theme Park and Resort is set to be located just west of Grand Lake on the famous interstate. It is expected to cost around $2 billion and open in 2026, after a first-phase RV park with cabins rolls out in the spring of 2025.

The theme park will be 125 acres which makes it a comparable size to Disneyland or Magic Kingdom at Disneyworld.

The RV park will span 320 acres with 750 RV spaces and 300 cabins. A 300-room hotel and indoor water park are also part of the planned development.

More details are expected to be released at a later date.
