Scientists Say Vinegar and Honey Could be Secret Health Weapon

Some scientists say vinegar and honey are great at fighting back against modern "superbug" infections that resist antibiotics.

A new study looks to some ancient remedies that may have medicinal properties in fighting back against “super-bugs.”  Scientists at the University of Warwick in England say two everyday food items, vinegar and honey, are great at fighting back against modern “superbug” infections that resist antibiotics.   The researchers say they noticed a pattern of the two being used in combination in the past for situations such as cleansing wounds and to stop infections.   The scientists are studying how the combo works in the lab and low doses of vinegar and honey are showing effectiveness in killing bacteria.
