Man Arrested For Several Counts Of Child Sexual Abuse Material Charges

Authorities received a tip from the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children which led to the suspects arrests.

A man was arrested on Thursday on 10 counts of child sexual abuse material charges.

Authorities received a tip from the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children. Further investigation led to the arrest of 79-year-old Albert Koepcke. He allegedly possessed files of child sexual abuse material.

The crime is punishable by up to 10 years on each count. He was arrested by the Horry County Sheriff’s Office and the Internet Crimes Against Children agency.

Koepkce’s case will be prosecuted by the Attorney General’s Office.
