Man Arrested For Stealing And Crashing A Golf Cart Resulting In Property Damage

The suspect attempted to flee but ended up crashing the cart into five apartment A/C compressors that were all damaged in the collision.

A Myrtle Beach man has been arrested in connection to the theft of a golf cart.

Horry County Police responded to a call regarding a stolen golf cart from River Oaks Golf Course on Friday.

Tramond Wilson was spotted recklessly driving the golf cart down River Oaks Drive. He attempted to flee from officers by turning on to White River Drive, but ended up crashing the cart into five apartment A/C compressors that were all damaged in the collision.

Wilson has been charged with grand larceny, reckless driving, and malicious injury to property. He is currently detained at the J. Reuben Long Detention Center under a $25,100 bond.
