MBPD And A Myrtle Beach Resident Assisted In Saving A Proposal
A proposal was halted when the man realized the engagement ring was lost in the sand.
On Saturday, the Myrtle Beach Police Department assisted a personal emergency situation for a couple on the beach.
A man from Tennessee got the attention of PFC John Lively with the MBPD to inform him he had lost an engagement ring in the sand.
The couple was taking photos along the beach when the man realized the ring had fallen out of his pocket.
Lively leaped into action to help find the ring along with PFC Sean Owens and PFC Zachary Stashick who also assisted.
A Myrtle Beach resident heard what was going on and did not hesitate to jump in on the search with the help of his metal detector.
The ring was found, the engagement was saved, and a happy ending was complete when she said YES!
