Coroner Identifies The Five Passengers In Fatal Small Plane Crash

The plane took off from the Grand Strand Airport at 11:02a.m. on Sunday and crashed nearly a minute later in the area of Barefoot Landing.

We now know the names of the victims whose lives were claimed in the small plane crash that happened in North Myrtle Beach.

7-year-old Sean Gardner, 17-year-old Odaycia Edwards, and 32-year-old Tanique Cheu all died at the scene. 66-year-old Dr. Joseph Farnese was identified as the pilot and owner of the single-engine Piper PA-32 aircraft. He also was pronounced dead at the scene.

42-year-old Suzett Coleman-Edwards was taken to Grand Strand Regional Medical Center for her injuries where she later died as well.

The plane took off from the Grand Strand Airport at 11:02a.m. on Sunday and crashed nearly a minute later in the area of Barefoot Landing. All of the victims were from New Jersey.

An investigation is still on-going as authorities work to discover what caused the crash.
