How Not to Lose Your Photos in 20 Days – Apple to Shut Down ‘My Photo Stream’ Feature

Here's how to save your photos when the free cloud storage system on Apple officially shuts down on July 26. 

How not to loose your iPhone photos in 20 days.  Photos uploaded on the free cloud storage system will be permanently deleted when the service officially shuts down on July 26.   It’s being replaced with with iCloud photos which is free for up to 5gb of storage but requires a premium subscription plan for more storage – from $2.99 to $9.99 for 2 Terabytes.   Apple encourages users to locate the original versions of the photos you wish to keep on at least one physical device.   If you already have iCloud photos you don’t need to do anything else.  To be sure, check your settings.
