Search Mission Underway For Missing Submarine With Five Passengers
The Titanic wreckage sits at the bottom of the ocean nearly 13 thousand feet below the surface Southeast of Newfoundland, Canada.
A massive search operation is underway to locate a submarine that went missing on a trip to view the wreckage of the Titanic.
Among those aboard are British Explorer Hamish Harding, French Diver Paul-Henri Nargeolet, as well as British Citizens Shahzada and Sulaiman Dawood, who are father and son as well as a Pilot.
Their journey began on Sunday and within one hour and 45 minutes of its dive, the vessel lost contact.
The 21-foot submersible has life support for up to 96 hours of emergency oxygen available for the passengers on-board.
Search and rescue efforts are underway as many agencies have teamed up to hopefully find the missing vessel.
