One Person Died After A Shooting Outside Of A Lumberton Mall
Two suspects were spotted fleeing from the scene leading the North Carolina Highway Patrol on a chase that ended on I-95 near St. Pauls.
Monday night, one person was shot outside of a Lumberton mall.
Around 6:30p.m., police responded to reports of gunfire at the Biggs Park Mall on North Elm Street.
Upon arrival, they found one victim with injuries outside of the mall.
The victim was then transported to a hospital where they later died from their wounds.
The identity of the deceased has not yet been publicly released.

They have both been detained but their names and charges have not been revealed at this time.
An investigation is still ongoing and anyone with information is asked to call the Lumberton Police Department.
