Two Arrested After Attempted Traffic Stop Led To Discovery Of Drugs
Two male suspects were arrested after failing to stop for blue lights and allegedly trafficking drugs after an abundance were found in the fleeing vehicle.
Two men were arrested after an attempted traffic stop led to the discovery of drugs.
23-year-old Lamont McCray was charged with failure to stop for a blue light and trafficking over 28 grams of heroin/fentanyl, and 28-year-old Vincent Staggers was also charged with trafficking.
McCray and Staggers are accused of fleeing the attempted traffic stop near Andrews and were later apprehended in Williamsburg County after allegedly abandoning their vehicle and fleeing on foot.
Both suspects were out on bond for unrelated charges and they are both being detained at the Georgetown County Detention Center while waiting for a bond hearing.
