JPMorgan Reaches Settlement In Jeffrey Epstein Victims Case
Epstein was arrested in 2019 and soon after died while detained, his death was ruled a suicide.
JPMorgan Chase has settled a class action lawsuit from Jeffrey Epstein’s sexual abuse victims.
The victims accused the bank of enabling sex trafficking by the deceased financier when he was a client.
The bank has reached an agreement in principle to settle the putative lawsuit related to Epstein’s crimes.
The agreement is subject to court approval and the amount of the settlement was not disclosed.
The bank and the victims’ lawyers said the settlement is in the best interests of all parties involved especially the survivors of Epstein’s abuse.
