There is a medical report out that could affect your morning cup of joe.  Sucralose, a chemical found in the popular zero-calorie sweetener Splenda, has been shown to cause damage to DNA, raise the risk of cancer and cause leaks in the gut lining, according to a new study from North Carolina State University.   The report suggests sucralose breaks down the genetic material that makes up DNA.   When that happens it can crease cancer risks.   Sucralose has been linked to gut issues in the past.   A nationally quoted dietician says while artificial sweeteners may be tolerable in generally healthy hey but should be eliminated if there are any signs of bloating, indigestion, constipation or diarrhea.
