Coroner Identifies Inmate That Died At J. Reuben Long
No foul play is suspected at this time, but in accordance with detention center protocol, SLED is investigating.
An inmate at the J. Reuben Long Detention Center was discovered unresponsive in his cell and was pronounced dead after being taken to a hospital.
An officer at the detention center noticed 41-year-old Crystal Page was unresponsive in his cell around 2:15p.m. on Monday.
The officer alerted medical personnel who initiated life-saving measures and called EMS.
Page was pronounced dead at 3:34p.m..
