Several People Arrested For Waffle House Shootout In Myrtle Beach

In the early hours of Wednesday morning, an altercation ended in a shootout near a Myrtle Beach Waffle House.

Around 2a.m., a fight involving over a dozen people broke out in the parking lot near the restaurant and Comfort Suites in the area of Highway 17 and Highway 501 Junction.

A hotel employee reported hearing 10 to 14 gunshots and two guests cars were hit with stray bullets.

The area was closed to traffic for nearly an hour and a half.

Several suspects were on the run and as of this morning, police have four of them in custody.
