Man Accused Of Murdering His Wife Was Arrested In Horry County

The suspect was booked into the J. Reuben Long Detention Center and then extradited back to Tennessee where he was detained and awaits a hearing.

A man accused of killing his wife in Tennessee is in custody after being arrested in Horry County.

33-year-old Jeffery Judge was arrested after a traffic stop was conducted in the Surfside Beach area on May 17th.

Officers were made aware the vehicle driven by Judge was entering the county as police were tracking him through license plate readers.

Police then discovered he had an active warrant for homicide out of Goodlettsville, Tennessee.

Karlie Judge was found in a bedroom dead with a head injury with signs of a struggle. Judge is the main suspect as there were no signs of forced entry into the home.
