Burglary Incident Led To The Arrest Of Two People

Authorities arrested two suspects after reports of burglary at Applecool Storage in Georgetown.

The Georgetown Police Department has arrested two people accused of burglary.

Officers responded to a burglary in progress call at Applecool Storage located on South Fraser Street shortly after 4p.m. on Tuesday.

Upon arrival authorities found six rental units had been broken into and the suspects attempted to flee in a gray Dodge pickup truck.

30-year-old Jamie Rourk and 32-year-old Kristi Gladstone have both been charged with six counts of burglary and Rourk also faces one count of possession of burglary tools.

They are both being detained at the Georgetown County Detention Center.
