Robeson County Student Creates One-Of-A-Kind Dog House for School Project

What started as a final project may be start of a new business for Jeremiah Locklear.

A student in Robeson County may be changing the future of dog houses.  In this case, man’s best friend is getting a major upgrade.  RCC graduate Jeremiah Locklear created a one-of-a-kind dog house that features all the luxuries a dog could ask for including a remote-controlled door with sensors, automated feeders and water cooler, a roof that opens and closes, and with AC!  It’s thermostat controlled so pup stays cool in the hot days of summer and warm during frigid temperatures of winter.  Jeremiah created it using all the things he learned at RCC for a school project, incorporating air conditioning, heat, and electrical wiring.   What started as a final project may very well be the start of a new business.  He had to get a trailer to bring this project to campus.
