Last week, Audra found a new use for the avocado pit with avocado tea.   Today, Audra redeems the often discarded apple core!  An apple a day keeps the doctor away, but you may be tossing the best part.  A new study show the apple pulp and seeds are a hot spot for gut-health! the report is in the journal “Frontiers in Microbiology” and says the core and stem contain the highest concentration of the good,   Gut health-promoting bacteria usually called probiotics is referred to as the good bacteria.  Each person has trillions of them in their gut, in the form of what’s called the microbiome.   I’s a part of our body that’s been shown to affect everything from our mental health to our immune system.  For max benefits, the report says to eat the entire apple, stem to skin!  Have a health tip to share with Audra?
