Chants Win Sun Belt Conference Regular-Season Championship

The Chanticleers extended their Sun Belt Conference series winning streak to 16 consecutive series wins.

Coastal Carolina baseball completed the three-game Sun Belt Conference series with a pair of wins in a double header on Saturday to win the 2023 Sun Belt Conference Regular-season Championship.

The Regular-season Championshi9p Title is the third for the Chanticleers since joining the Sun Belt in 2017 and 2018 and the overall 19th in its program history.

The Chants finished the conference season at 23 and 7 overall, one game in front of Nationally-ranked Southern Miss at 22 and 8.

CCU will be the number one seed in next week’s 2023 Guardian Credit Union Baseball Championship Tournament.

The Chants finished their regular season at 37 and 17 overall and did not lose a single weekend series.
