A recent review we read in Men’s Health  found that light beer could be a good option for post-exercise recovery.  Don’t be so surprised.  Events like beer yoga, when breweries hold a fitness class and beer is served afterwards have long been a thing.  Beer is often given at the end of some 5Ks.  Whether or not folks knew it, the carbs and sodium in beer can be a decent rehydration aid.  Plus it contains antioxidants and antiviral plant compounds.   The review is based on beers with an alcohol content of less than 4%.
