Hartsville Restaurant Listed as ‘Coolest Hidden Wonder’ in South Carolina

The last Yogi Bear Honey Fried Chicken Restaurant is in Hartsville, South Carolina.

A restaurant in Hartsville is named the “Coolest Hidden Wonder in SC.”   The news site Stacker found the coolest hidden wonders in all 50 U.S. states (plus D.C.) using data from Atlas Obscura.  Each state’s most sought out places are listed from geological parks and museums to….the last Yogi Bear Honey Fried Chicken restaurant, which is in Hartsville. The cartoon character is the main character for a chain of chicken restaurants that debuted in the 60s but have been whittled down to just one surviving location there on Highway 15 in the Darlington County town.  You can still get boxes of chicken like the boo boo basket and the picnic basket.
