Disney+ And Hulu Are Merging To Create A ‘One-App Experience’

The new merger is expected to hike the price of its add-free plan that currently costs $10.99 a month, but it is unclear at this time how much it will rise.

Two of the largest streaming services are combining to create a ‘one-app experience’.

Disney+ and Hulu are becoming a single streaming app. The plan came about as Disney was originally seeking to buy Hulu all together, but after a report released on Wednesday revealed Disney+ was not doing as well as expected while losing millions of subscribers, Disney now plans to combine the app’s together.

The new merger is expected to hike the price of its add-free plan that currently costs $10.99 a month, but it is unclear at this time how much it will rise.

The combined app is set to roll out by the end of the year and the company is expected to reveal more details at a later date.
