Palestinian Militants Launch Rocket Attacks After Israeli Strikes

The Army said at least 60 rockets had been fired in less than an hour from Gaza.

On Wednesday, Palestinian activists fired a slew of rockets from the Gaza Strip into Israel.

The attack is in response to Israeli airstrikes that were conducted on Tuesday which killed 19 Palestinians, including three senior militants as well as at least 10 civilians.

On Wednesday, the combative response prompted air raid sirens throughout Southern Israel.

The Army said at least 60 rockets had been fired in less than an hour from Gaza.

There have been no reports of injuries, though local officials said one home was struck.

Israeli police said they would allow a Jewish parade to take place next week which would be a move that could further raise tensions.
