Moscow Accuses The U.S. Of Being Responsible For Drone Attack

The accusations come as Moscow shared they are well aware, "Kyiv only executes what they are advised to do by Washington."

Russia is holding the United States responsible for what it says was a drone attack on the Kremlin and an assassination attempt against Russian President Vladimir Putin.

Earlier this week, Russia claimed Ukraine launched a drone strike targeting the Kremlin in attempt to kill Putin. Ukraine denied playing any part in the alleged strike.

U.S. officials said they were assessing the incident and discovered no information regarding who could have been responsible.

A Kremlin spokesperson shared that they “undoubtedly” know that Washington D.C. was behind the attack. The allegations were not backed with any evidence nor additional details.

The White House has denied any involvement and referred to the accusations as ‘ridiculous’.
