The U.S. And Europe Conducted A Global Crackdown On Drug Trafficking

Authorities in the U.S. and Europe teamed up for an international crackdown on drug trafficking.
The operation targeting the “Monopoly Market”, is the latest major takedown of sales platforms for drugs and other illicit goods on the dark web.
Over $53 million was seized along with a Dark Web marketplace as officials referred to the operation as the largest of its kind.
141 pounds of fentanyl products, 569 pounds of amphetamines, 95 pounds of cocaine, 95 pounds of MDMA, and over 22 pounds of LSD and ecstasy pills, were all seized as a result of this global crackdown.
Nearly 300 people were arrested and most of the arrests were made in the U.S..
