Timmonsville Man Arrested After Death of His Son

Timmonsville police arrested a man after his son was shot to death on Saturday night. Timmonsville Police Chief Thomas McFadden reported that Larry Ellerbe, Jr. is in custody following a family argument that led to him shooting his son. The incident took place on Bowman Circle. Ellerbe was booked into the Florence County Detention Center yesterday for a murder charge. No further details have been made available.
