Two Major News Hosts Lost Their Jobs

Tucker Carlson and Don Lemon were both removed from their positions at two different news media outlets.

Two major news hosts have lost their jobs.

Tucker Carlson hosted his last show for the Fox News network. The media giant thanked Carlson in a statement and shared that his last show was this past Friday.

Carlson was the highest-rated single host at Fox News.

The decision to sever ties comes after the network’s recently reached $787.5 million settlement with Dominion Voting Systems over dissemination of election lies.

The lawsuit exposed Carlson for certain revealing actions which is expected to play a role in his departure from the network.

At CNN, Don Lemon was terminated from his anchor role after allegations that he mistreated female colleagues.

Lemon’s agent broke the news to him in which he responded saying, ‘I am stunned. After 17 years at CNN, I would have thought someone in management would have had the decency to tell me directly.”
