Take a ‘Mental Walk’ for Better Sleep

The next time you’re having trouble sleeping try taking a mental walk.

Thee next time you’re having a tough time drifting off, don’t bother counting sheep.  Try mental walking.  It’s similar to mindfulness and meditation.   It’s taking our minds to a place where our brains can unwind.  Recall a  walk you know really well whether it’s a walk in the field, on the beach, or the park.  Aim to visualize the details.  Focus to the point of seeing yourself walk out the door into your stroll.  If done correctly, you’ll drift off to sleep.
