New Study Claims Makeup Brushes are Dirtier Than Your Toilet

A good reminder to wash them more often!

A new study claims makeup brushes could be dirtier than your toilet. On average, 40% of people who use makeup brushes only clean them every two weeks and a fifth said every one to three months. A study revealed the unclean makeup brushes contained more bacteria than a toilet seat. Studies have shown the average makeup brush can contain dead skin cells, oil and bacteria which can be transferred between the product and the face…which is a good reminder to wash them more often!
