Man Wanted For A 2022 Fatal Shooting Is Still On The Loose

30-year-old Jason McRae is wanted in connection to the death of 20-year-old Shawn Campbell.

The Robeson County Sheriff’s Office is still searching for the man wanted for a fatal shooting that occurred in May of last year.

30-year-old Jason McRae is wanted in connection to the death of 20-year-old Shawn Campbell. He is being charged with first-degree murder, first-degree burglary, robbery with a dangerous weapon, discharging a fire-arm within an enclosure to incite fear, and possession of a fire-arm by a felon.

The shooting happened around 12:45 on May 23rd of 2022 at a home in the 9300 block of Highway 130 Bypass in Fairmont.

An investigation is still on-going and anyone with information is urged to call the Robeson or Dillon County Sheriff’s Office.
