Lake City Kicks Off Their Artfields Competition Festival

Lake City is hosting an several day long event featuring artistic visions and fun.

The Lake City Artfields Collective is a community arts non-profit that was founded in 2013.

Their goal is to celebrate Southern art and revitalize their small town through the arts.

The Artfields competition turns the town into a gallery while local businesses display hundreds of artwork pieces and artists compete for $145 thousand in cash prizes.

Starting on April 19th though the 29th, many art pieces can be viewed throughout the city.
