Participation Trophy Debate in NC Sparks Humorous List of Other Things to Eliminate from Children’s Sports

The subject of eliminating participation trophies has folks adding to the list of other things that should be banned in children's sports. All in fun, of course.

Participation trophies are going by the way of the dodo. Expecting your child to get a token for his/her dedication to the sport may be a thing of the past.  A bill in North Carolina has already been introduced that would eliminate participation trophies for children. Whether or not you agree, the subject has brought humor regarding other things some wish would be banned in children’s sports. That list includes doing away with orange wedges at half-time, 8 a.m. Saturday games, requiring uniforms to be washed after every game and just t-ball in general.
