One Arrested After Accusations Of Unlawful Distribution Of Alcohol

An investigation was opened after tips were filed accusing 46-year-old Juan Johnson of illegally distributing alcohol without ABC permits.

Complaints led to a raid on a suspected illegal bar at a home in Robeson County.

An investigation was opened after tips were filed accusing 46-year-old Juan Johnson of illegally distributing alcohol without ABC permits.

Alcohol law enforcement agents conducted a search warrant on Tuesday at the home located on Ballance Farm Road in the St. Paul’s Community.

Items including liquor, malt beverages, and cash, were sized from the home. Special agents also discovered drugs and five unlawfully possessed guns.

Johnson was arrested and faces several charges including possession of alcoholic beverages for sale without permits, revenue licenses, and possession of a firearm by a convicted felon.
