Four Teens Arrested After Assault Incident On CCU Campus
CCU police responded to the Conway Medical Center in regards to an assault that the victim said happened as he was leaving the HTC Center.
Four teens have been arrested in connection to an assault that occurred on Coastal Carolina’s campus.
Shortly after 11p.m. on April 6th, CCU police responded to the Conway Medical Center in regards to an assault that the victim said happened as he was leaving the HTC Center.
A group of people were in the road when he honked in an attempt to move them out of the way. One suspect threw some sort of liquid at the vehicle.
The victim then exited the vehicle to confront the group when they began to assault him. He had several minor injuries and was missing a tooth.
19-year-old, Chase Gibson, 18-year-olds, Stephen Munguia, Stephen Reynolds, and Ethan Thompson, have each been charged with third-degree assault and battery by a mob.
All four suspects have been released on a $1 thousand bond.
It is unclear if they are registered CCU students or not.
