Leaked Documents Reveal U.S. Spying On Allies

The documents originally only meant to be accessed by those of high authority clearance in U.S. security, were posted on several social platforms including Twitter.

One of the biggest leaks of alleged classified U.S. military documents in over a decade, reveals the U.S. spying on allies.

The documents originally only meant to be accessed by those of high authority clearance in U.S. security, were posted on several social platforms including Twitter.

They reportedly revealed information on U.S. assessments of the war in Ukraine as well as intelligence on diplomatic allies.

At least two of the documents revealed detailed discussions within South Korean officials concerning the U.S. pressuring the East Asian Nation to assist in supplying weapons to Ukraine.

The data was allegedly gathered through intercepted communication signals.

It has been announced that this incident does not completely cut off ties between the two nations, but it does raise concerns as espionage amongst allies could damage relations and trust.

An investigation has been opened into the leak of the documents.
