Details Allege Murders Of A Father And Son Were Committed For Money
Randy Grainger is accused of killing Robert and Robbie Ford. Grainger's attorney argued there is not enough evidence to link him to the killings.
The double murder trial regarding the 2018 deaths of a father and son in Conway, began this week.
Randy Grainger is accused of killing Robert and Robbie Ford. Two others were arrested in connection to the murders as well including Teresa Martin and Samantha Rabon who is Robert’s daughter and Robbie’s step sister.
Teresa Martin made a deal and pled guilty to accessory in exchange for sharing her story truthfully with the court.
Martin took the stand on Wednesday and made allegations that Grainger was hired to murder the two victims. She testified that a few days before the murders, Grainger held a conversation with Rabon who asked him to ‘take care of’ the victims.
Martin claimed she opted out of the conversation as she did not want to get involved, but she did provide Grainger with a ride to the victim’s house.
When asked if she was aware what was going to happen, Martin replied yes from what she over-heard.
The prosecution claims Rabon wanted Grainger to kill her father and step-brother for inheritance money.
Grainger’s attorney argued there is not enough evidence to link the suspect to the killings.
