Trump Pleaded Not Guilty In Manhattan Court
The charges that Donald Trump is facing are 34 charges of falsifying business records.
On Tuesday, Former President Donald Trump pleaded not guilty in Manhattan criminal court.
Trump surrendered and was placed under arrest before he was arraigned. He was presented with the charges against him for the first time while making his way into the courtroom.
Prosecutors alleged that the former president attempted to conceal negative information in a hush money scheme to protect his 2016 presidential campaign. He allegedly paid adult film star, Stormy Daniels, to keep their affair quiet, and then wrongfully filed the payment under false charges.
The actions led to 34 charges of falsifying business records.
Trump’s next court date is set for December 4th.
