New Information Revealed Regarding The Chinese Spy Balloon

The balloon was capable of transmitting U.S. data back to Beijing in real time.

New information has been released about the Chinese balloon that flew across the United States.

The suspected spy balloon, controlled by Beijing, was able to make multiple passes over several sites in a figure-8 movement before it was shot down on February 4th.

U.S. officials shared that the intelligence China was able to collect was mostly from electronic signals that can be picked up from weapons systems or include communications from base personnel.

The balloon was capable of transmitting the information back to Beijing in real time.

U.S. officials nor the Chinese Foreign Ministry in Beijing have commented on the newly revealed information.

Beijing previously denied all accusations that the balloon was a government spy vessel.
