Missing Persons Body Discovered In Choppee Creek

The body was found near the intersection of Rose Hill Road and Choppee Road where a single-car crash was reported.

A body was pulled from the Choppee Creek in Georgetown County.

The body of 61-year-old Michael Davis was discovered near the intersection of Rose Hill Road and Choppee Road where a single-car crash was reported.

The crash occurred on March 26th around 7:10a.m., the car owners family reported him missing and crews began an extensive search for the driver using marine, ground, and drone resources.

An autopsy for Davis is scheduled and more details are expected to be revealed.
