Growing Relationships Between Three Countries Are Expected To Be ‘Problematic’

Tensions with the U.S. between all three have been on the rise in recent months due to several situations.

Chairman of the joint Chiefs of Staff, General Mark Milley spoke to lawmakers and shared that increasing ties between three country’s could become ‘problematic’.

Milley explained the growing relationships between China, Russia, and Iran, can not be referred to as a ‘true alliance’ but they are moving closer and that is ‘troublesome’.

The United States has made it clear over the years that the three territories are main focuses of the military. However, tensions with all three have been on the rise in recent months due to several situations including the U.S.’s support for Ukraine in Russia’s invasion, shooting down the suspected Chinese spy balloon, and Iran’s recent drone attack on a facility housing U.S. personnel.

Milley warned during a hearing that the ties between the countries ‘will be a problem for the U.S. for many years to come’.
