Despite having a month-long waitlist, a contractor dropped everything to build a wheelchair ramp for a family.  And doesn’t charge them! Jerry Tonjes of JT’s Building and Construction in Ohio built a ramp for a family who takes care of an older guy in the home who had his knee replaced.  Before Jerry showed up, the daughter said she had called numerous places to try and find someone who would build a ramp at their home.   Those businesses either didn’t return the call, were all booked up or were out of price-range.  When Jerry showed up he took the job and did it in a weekend for free.  The reason?  He said he had a life experience to shift his outlook on life.  Someone in his family was battling cancer and he was looking for a way s to give back.  We saw this kindness story from WTOL, Ohio.  Credit: Caylee Kirby (WTOL).
