Nashville Private Christian School Shooting
The suspect was shot down by police after killing three 9-year-olds, as well as three staff members, all in their 60s.
On Monday morning, six people were killed during a school shooting in Nashville, Tennessee.
The shooter has been identified as 28-year-old, Audrey Hale, who was a former student of the private Christian Covenant Elementary school. It has been confirmed that the attack was targeted and involved prior planning.
Hale had drawn detailed maps of the school including the entry points to the building. Captured security footage reveals the suspect arriving at the school, shooting through glass doors and climbing through to get inside. The individual was armed with three firearms.

Among the victims were students, Evelyn Dieckhaus, William Kinney, and Hallie Scruggs, along with substitute teacher Cynthia Peak, 61, school custodian Mike Hill, 60, and Katherine Koonce, 60, who was the head of the school.
The incident happened in a matter of 14 minutes.
Police are currently digging into the background and motivations of Hale at this time.
This attack marks the 19th shooting at an American school or university this year.
