CCU Backup Quarterback Indefinitely Suspended After Arrest

This marks the second time in four months that a Chanticleer quarterback was arrested and suspended.

Coastal Carolina University has suspended their backup quarterback from all football related activities.

19-year-old, Dontrell Jackson was arrested and charged with simple possession of marijuana, carrying or displaying a firearm in a public area, and unlawful sale or delivery of a pistol.

The freshman has been suspended from all football related activities indefinitely and CCU’s student conduct process is now handling the case.
