MYR Hosts Ribbon-Cutting Ceremony for Newly Renovated Area
The ceremony was held to introduce the new enhancements of the airport's Welcome Center.
Visitors to the Myrtle Beach International Airport will see a newly renovated area.
The Myrtle Beach Area Chamber of Commerce and the Visitors Bureau held a ribbon-cutting ceremony on Wednesday to introduce the new enhancements of the airport’s Welcome Center.
New features were added including signs with vibrant colors, graphic backdrops creating photo ops and scannable QR codes that give travelers instant access to online content such as restaurant recommendations or local events.
The Welcome Center is located next to baggage claim.
It was noted at the ceremony that 3.5 million travelers made their way through MYR last year.
