Marion Man Found Shot And Killed

Just after midnight on Friday, a shooting in Marion County resulted in the death of one Marion man.

Officers discovered the victim in a yard in the 800 block of Bluff Street. 34-year-old, James Cross was found laying on his back and unresponsive.

Marion County Coroner, Jerry Richardson pronounced Cross dead at the scene. His body is being transported to MUSC in Charleston for an autopsy and an investigation has been opened.
