‘God’s Trombones’ Production Coming To Timberlake Baptist Church
'God's Trombones' will be Saturday, March 4th, at the Timberlake Baptist church in Myrtle Beach at 7p.m..
Salem Missionary Baptist Church along with Sweet Vereen Gilliard productions are hosting an insightful, historical production once again.
‘God’s Trombones’ is the acclaimed literary book from 1927 by James Weldon Johnson. The book discusses the importance of black religious leaders in local communities and has remained relevant for almost 100 years.
The production of ‘God’s Trombones’ is being held in honor of February being Black History Month.
Pastor Charles B. Johnson said that the production “depicts the importance of faith and ministry in God’s kingdom”. He continued by saying ‘God’s Trombones’ consist of multi-cultural richness and everyone is welcomed”.
‘God’s Trombones’ will be Saturday, March 4th, at the Timberlake Baptist church in Myrtle Beach at 7p.m..
Tickets cost $35 and the event has already sold over 375 tickets as hosts hope to sell the remaining 55 tickets.
